How We Test

We actually use the platforms. Every plan, from free tier to the highest subscription available. Minimum two to four weeks per platform before we write anything.

What we measure:

• Chat quality — response quality, memory performance across sessions, character personality consistency
• Image generation — output quality, style range, how consistent characters look between requests
• Voice and video — quality, integration, whether it adds value
• Pricing and value — per-tier cost, annual savings, coin economics vs what you actually get
• Safety and privacy — company legitimacy, data retention policies, encryption
• Interface — usability, mobile performance, onboarding experience

All prices are verified directly on official platform sites before we publish. Verification date is stated in every review.

Negatives are published. Safety concerns, inflated pricing, data retention issues, feature gaps — all of it goes in. We've published unfavorable safety findings on platforms we earn affiliate revenue from. We'd do it again.
